I am a prolific reader and I have to say this was the toughest trio of books to get thru I've ever attempted. The writing bounced too much and the characters needed to be fleshed out more. The only saving grace was the storyline which I thought was excellent. The worst part was the use of rage in the fighting scenes. Anyone who has fought knows that rage is your enemy in fighting. The author almost got it right towards the end when he tried to separate rage from calm. Last thing, no character of strength would put up with put up with Diana's "BS". I guess I'm a gluten for punishment because I'm going to read his next series. Thanks, JOProduct details

Good read. Enjoyable Urban Fantasy series.
More of the same mediocrity. Perhaps a touch worse than the first two.
I will be honest, when I started the first book I didn't have high expectations. However through the second and third book my opinion changed and this is up there with some of my favourite books ever. Definately an author whose next books I will purchase.
Definitely looking forward to a new set of adventures. I did feel that in places the story line seemed a bit rushed, while others areas seamed to lag. I would love to see a continued story line on the charcter Sequoia. With a baby on the way I could envision a powerful new witch being born.
I've read all three books which are available at this time. Not more normal genre but I absolutely enjoyed reading this series! The small and minor typos show that someone actually made a serious attempt at proofreading. Thank you for the wonderful adventures and I look forward to the next installment!
